Anderson kids to get on the go

The annual Chick-fil-A of Anderson, SC Kidz Kamp run is scheduled to take place next month.

This event will include a 10K, 5K, and a 1 Mile Untimed Fun Run. Each race will start and finish at Grady’s Great Outdoors on Clemson Boulevard.

Those who wish to participate in any of the three races can sign up in advance online. Registration fees are $35 per person for the 10K, $25 for the 5K, and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run.

Those who participate in the 5K and 10K races will receive a Dri-fit shirt, a timing chip, and chances to win prizes. Winners of the 5K and 10K races will receive top awards in their overall age groups. Those who join the 1 Mile Fun Run will get a Dri-fit shirt and the chance to receive an overall award. Poster printing is often used by the organizers of such events to create eye-catching advertisements that showcase necessary event details and dates.

All event proceeds will fund scholarships for children to enable them to participate in a one-week summer camp.

This event is set to take place on Saturday, April 25. Packet pickup day will occur the day before the race at the same location on Friday, April 24 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
