Barefoot Fest will be held at Bent Creek Farm in Belton. This festival will feature running, an obstacle course, a car show, music, and more.
Bent Creek Farm is located in Belton, only a short drive from Anderson. The farm is a South Carolina recognized charity, and the festival will support two local charities this year – the Alzheimer’s Association of SC and Anderson Pregnancy Care.
One of the main features of this event is the run. Attendees will have an option of a 1K or 5K fun run, or the Udder Mudder, which looks similar to an obstacle course but all mud.
There will be music at the event, from an Elvis tribute, to rockabilly, to bluegrass. Three separate performers are booked, with more possibly to confirm.
Registration is currently open for the runs. The Udder Mudder is $35 per participant, while the 5K and 1K are $25 each. Children 10 and under can participate in a “mini mudder” for $20.
Participants are advised to bring dry clothing to wear after the race is done. Normal running shoes are recommended, while cleats and spikes are strictly prohibited. Participants can leave a bag at the registration tent for $10 each, cash only.
Events of this type often use flyer printing, as Flyers are easily distributed or mailed. It will begin at 7:00 am and end at 9:00 pm this Saturday, June 15.
