The second annual Anderson Bluegrass Festival will be held this year in the Civic Center of Anderson. The three-day festival boasts having the best performers, and already has dates set for next year.
The festival will have free parking in the area, and there will be concessions and hot food. However, no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises. Pets are also prohibited, as are video and audio recording.
For those interested, camping is available in the area for $20 a night. The event claims there are over 1,200 motel rooms within a three-mile radius of the civic center, and many other hotels and motels in the local area.
General admission is $40 per day, or $90 for a three-day ticket, while VIP admission is $45 per day, or $95 for the three-day ticket. Children ages 7 to 15 are $45 for the three-day ticket, or $20 per day. Children under seven are free with adult admission.
Performances will start daily at noon and end around 10:00 pm. The list of performers include The Gibson Brothers, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Flatt Lonesome, Appalachian Express, and The Primitive Quartet.
This event has a specially designed flyer, and will likely use flyer printing to help spread the word. It will start on Thursday, October 25, and go through Saturday, October 27.
