Spring has sprung in Anderson, and that means it is time for Anderson’s Carolina Wrens Park to host monthly movie nights for the local community to enjoy.
This initiative will bring the public together to enjoy blockbuster movies on the big screen under the stars. Everyone is welcome, and they are invited to bring along a blanket to sit on while they enjoy the show.
A concession stand will be open for anyone who would like to purchase a snack during the presentation, and those who come out are encouraged to bring along a cooler filled with their favorite movie night treats. For safety reasons, the organizers have asked the public to not bring alcoholic beverages or glass containers to the event.
These monthly occasions are being held free of charge, and the funding for them will be sourced from the City of Anderson accommodations tax fund. The start time for the show will depend upon the date, and publications crafted by a flyer printing company can let the public know more about the schedule for these events.
The first movie to be shown will be ‘Coco’, and it will begin at 8:35 pm on May 18. These outdoor screenings will be offered up until December, and further details for anyone who would like to find out more have been added to the city’s website.
