Anderson event promises morning of muddy fun

A challenge has been issued to residents of Anderson who want to put their fitness to the test during an event designed to push them to their limits.

Those who take part in the Country Mile 5K Obstacle Course Race will face an assortment of challenges, including mud, hay mountains, slippery slopes and other barriers. Two different options are available to those who wish to participate, and they can choose the one they feel is best suited to them.

A novice category will be offered to those new to this sort of activity or who just want to test their mettle and have fun doing so. Those who want to push themselves to the limit and come out ahead of the crowd will be able to participate in the competitive waves, and an assortment of cash prizes are being offered to the winners.

This race, which has been planned to be both challenging and fun, will be taking place at 1101 W. Queen Street in Pendleton on March 31st. The sign up station for the day is set to open at 7:00 am.
