A representative of American Board will be on site during an Anderson event that will help local people with a bachelor’s degree learn more about how they can make the transition to being a certified teacher.
This free session will give those who participate an opportunity to meet with a specialist in South Carolina Teacher Certification to see if it is the right option for them. They will also be able to browse through materials used to prepare for the materials that are used to prepare for the exams they will need to take to be certified. Brochure printing can be used to create an assortment of pamphlets and other items for an event like this.
A discussion about the new clinical experience program offered by American Board is on the agenda for the evening, and the participants be offered special savings of the cost of participating in its programming. The organizers noted that those who currently hold a bachelor’s degree may be able to be teaching within a year should they become certified through its program, and options are also available for paraprofessionals and those teaching on a emergency/temporary certificate.
This information session for those interested in teaching South Carolina will be held in the Anderson County Library on April 25th. The American Board website includes further details for anyone who wants to find out more.
