Anderson 5K to help recovery facility

The Bridge Center Recovery in Anderson will be hosting a race in April to raise funds for its rehab facility.

The 1st Annual Run for Recovery is a charitable competition that helps a local organization assist men who suffer from addiction. The race will begin at the East side of East West Connector. The top three female and male racers will earn a prize, and the winners of each age bracket will receive a medal. GoGreenEvents is in charge of timing the race. The organizers will also be holding a non-competitive fun run during the event.

The Run for Recovery has multiple sponsorship levels for companies that wish to help fund the rehab facility. Walker Level sponsors can pay $100 to have their name featured on the event site and be announced by the MC on race day. Businesses may pay $250 for the Jogger Level package, which features the store on T-Shirts. The most expensive package is the Finish Line Partner Level for $2,500 and above. Companies at athletic events like this may connect with attendees by offering them Promotional Products.

The 1st Annual Run for Recovery will be held on Saturday, April 23 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Those interested in the 5K can pay $30, and the fun run will cost $10. Prices for entering the event will increase after April 1.
