Town hall style meeting planned for Pittsburgh vets

Transitioning to the civilian world can sometimes be a difficult process. Pittsburgh vets, as well as their families, can learn about the benefits available to them as part of a meeting and information session planned for their city.

The Pittsburgh Regional Office of the Veterans Benefits Administration serves former military members, and it has organized a morning event that will offer vets information they can use to navigate the programs and services that may be available to them. Both front line personnel and senior level staff will be taking part, and the audience can ask questions and give their input as well.

One of the features of this event that may be of special interest to the attendees is that they will be able to speak directly with the Veterans Affairs (VA) staff that will be on site, and these reps will be able to offer on-the-spot assistance. A brochure printing company can craft pamphlets and other handouts to be assembled into information packages for distribution to each attendee at this type of function. This way, the recipients can refer back to them should they need more information after the session is over.

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has made arrangements to offer this town hall on March 10. Everyone who is interested is asked to be on site by no later than 10:00 am.
