Pittsburgh plans themed fundraiser

While the 1990s may be well in the rearview mirror, a Pittsburgh fundraiser will bring them back for one night only.

The Cure Jam will be filled with vibes from the turn of the millennium, and while the party goers have fun, they will be helping to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It will be held at the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel, and the festivities will run for three hours.

Guests will be dancing the night away to tunes spun by DJ Wonderboy, and there will be a selection of lite bites served. A cash bar service is in the works and the sweet tooths in the crowd can head to the candy and dessert table. A retro photo booth and other fun will be set up, and an auction will help to raise even more for the cause. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite retro clothes and accessories to help build a festive atmosphere.

While fundraisers are often fun experiences, planning them is often a true labor of love for the organizers. Stationery printers can help to take care of the housekeeping side of the process by supplying Letterheads, vendor contracts, waivers, and donation requests.

This step back in time to the turn of the millennium will be held on Friday, August 29. Its doors will open at 7:00 pm.
