Now that the cold winter weather has arrived in Pittsburgh, it's time for young and old alike to enjoy a popular local event.
The Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium’s flock of penguins will be enjoying the frosty air when they waddle out for their weekly walks. They will be free to explore as they go, and this opportunity to see one of these flightless birds up close is included with the admission price.
The public that would like to view the penguins can line the route they will walk, and they will start at the aquarium’s upper entrance. They tend to wander for about 20 minutes, and its listing explained that the viewing is not guaranteed. Those who are interested may want to claim their spot early, and the activity will take place so long as the weather cooperates.
Zoos and other wildlife focused institutions give the public the opportunity to view and learn about a variety of animals they would not otherwise be able to see. A brochure printing company will be happy to prepare pamphlets to distribute that include a map of a venue as well as information about its various exhibits and displays.
The penguins at Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium will be waddling their way into the hearts often public on dates from early December until late February. More information has been added to the institution’s website.
