The ‘Toys of the 50s, 60s and 70s’ event is continuing at the Senator John Heinz History Center until the end of next month.
There are several events related to this exhibit taking place at the Center. Each Saturday until May 28 is when the ‘Toys Take Over the Great Hall’ and turn it into a games room. Visitors can play a variety of larger-than-life games.
There are also behind-the-scenes tours to be taken that will be guided by Andy Masich on May 15 and Emily Roby on May 19. These tours take place at 6:30 PM.
On May 25, from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, ‘Cooking with Chris: Taste of the Toys, 1970s’ will teach visitors how to make hamburger helper and various crockpot dishes. It is led by Chris Fennimore and will also feature a question-and-answer session. Tickets are $15 for Heinz members and $20 for nonmembers.
Other events taking place include after-hours playtime for those aged 21 and over, and a pinball game night on May 13.
To advertise this event, organizers may have invested in poster printing from a Pittsburgh printing company.
The event is showing until May 31. Admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $6.50 for students, military, and children between the ages of 6 and 17. For more information, call 412-454-6373.
