An upcoming event near Leechburg promises to be fun and slightly creepy at the same time – perfect for the time of year.
Honey & Heart Candle Company has organized the upcoming Witching Hours Night Market, the first time this market will be held, and believes it will become an annual celebration. The organizers are inviting creative makers, mystics, and witches to come to Victorian Vandergrift, a short distance from Leesburg, to join in the fun.
Night markets are similar to the flea markets everyone enjoys, except they operate after dark. They are generally more relaxed than day markets, and encourage strolling and nibbling. They are thought to have originated in China and are now found throughout the world.
The market is fun for everyone and is suitable for children. Family entertainment is planned, and there will be food and fun for all. Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume. While a limited number will be indoors at the Vandergrift market, most will be outside. When outdoor events like this are scheduled, organizers could consider working with banner printing to create appropriate signage. Signs can be decorative as well as informative, and are weather resistant.
The market is scheduled for October 15, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, on Grant Avenue in Victorian Vandergrift. The afterparty runs from 9:00 pm until 12:00 pm, and vendors may remain at the market with their booths set up if they would like to do so.
