Downtown Kittanning Central Market is hosting a Galentine's celebration featuring multiple crafting workshops this February.
Galentines Extravaganza: Multi-Workshop Night will feature three creative workshops. The organizers have designed it to be a fun and engaging evening for attendees to spend with friends, making both crafts and memories. Charcuterie, wine, pizza, and desserts will be served.
A custom candle workshop will allow participants to design their own candles by choosing the container, scent, color, and other add-ins. Michelle from Himes Custom Creations will lead a painted wooden sign workshop. At J & L Creations, participants can sculpt a decorative cookie plate. Businesses often give out Promotional Products at this type of event.
The event is open to anyone in the area, including residents of Leechburg and other neighboring towns. Tickets are available online for $65 per person. Space is limited, so those planning to attend are encouraged to book their tickets as soon as possible. Downtown Kittanning Central Market opened in the fall of 2023 as a hub for local artists and crafters to sell their pieces. It currently hosts more than 30 vendors and has become a popular destination for gift shopping. The co-owners, Carissa DiEmidio and Marlando Dibble, also run the nearby Earthbound Apothecary.
The Galentine's event is scheduled for Saturday, February 7 starting at 6:00 pm at the Downtown Kittanning Central Market.
