An unusual event is scheduled for Vandergrift, a short distance from Leechburg. The afternoon promises to be interesting as well as helpful.
Bottle Charms: Setting Intentions has been organized to help attendees create charms that will help them set intentions. Bones, herbs, dried flowers, gemstones and other valuable items will be available to help people attending the event create a charm that has meaning for them. A reading will be conducted of all the possible intentions people could choose in designing their charm.
A bottle charm is what it sounds like – a charm created by placing special items, such as gems or flowers, in a small bottle and sealing it. They are often worn as necklaces.
The event will offer step-by-step help in creating a personal charm, and organizers will provide brief descriptions of all the available herbs, flowers, and gemstones that can be used. Approximately 50 gems will be available from which people can make their selections. Instructions are often helpful at events like this, and organizers can create them using flyer printing.
People set intentions for many objectives, including guidance to obtain prosperity, living in harmony with others, or increasing self-love.
The charmed event is scheduled for June 5, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, at Full Circle Furniture & Gifts at 140 Grant Avenue in Vandergrift. Refreshments will be provided.
