A monthly event is up and running near Leechburg, and businesspeople should consider attending.
The Vandergrift Business Association presents the Gathering on Grant monthly in the summer and fall. During the event, which is held in Vandergrift’s business district, the street is shut down to allow vendors room to set up their displays throughout the downtown area. This also gives pedestrians the opportunity to stop and talk to each vendor in person without worrying about blocking traffic.
However, despite the fact that the Business Association is sponsoring the event, vendors of all sorts will be on hand, giving visitors many options to explore.
In addition, there will be food trucks present, and live entertainment is provided by a DJ. Vendors of differing products and services will be found at the event, and everyone in the area is encouraged to apply to be part of the informative, fun, afternoon. There are no duplicate vendors allowed, so attendees will be able to visit unique suppliers.
The Gathering on Grant takes place every third Thursday in May, June, August, September, and October. Next event is on August 18, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Vendors will set up their displays from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Vandergrift is just a short drive from Leechburg.
