The Leechburg Youth Baseball Association (LYBA) is hosting its 3rd annual car show this year.
The Homers and Hot Rods car show will feature a selection of vintage and interesting vehicles. There will also be music, food, beverages, games and raffles. Donors often include Promotional Products in prize baskets at community events. Kids from the baseball program will have the opportunity to participate in the judging. Concession vendors will include Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, which serves cold brew, lemonade and other beverages, and Kona Ice.
Registration for those interested in entering their cars opens at 10 am. The fee is $15. Awards for Best Paint, Best in Show and Kids’ Choice will be presented. Participants can email LYBA for more information. Details and updates will be posted on the group’s Facebook page.
Proceeds from the car show will support LYBA. The association did a substantial overhaul of its program in the spring of this year to allow a greater range of ages to play locally without needing to travel to other youth teams in the region. The updates included moving from the Little League to the Pony League and switching to a larger field that works for both tee-ball and game for players up to age 14.
The LYBA Homers and Hot Rods Car Show will take place on Sunday, August 24 from 12 pm to 5 pm at Leechburg Gilpin Park.
