Cranberry Townships Community Chest (CTCC) gained ground on its goal to resurface Graham Park’s Miracle League ball field with the donation of $100,000 from Pirates Charities.
Cranberry Township’s Miracle League field provides disabled children the opportunity to play baseball, and is part of the Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania. The CTCC has made the Miracle League ball field’s resurfacing its primary yearly project, with a secondary one being the construction of a playground by the ball field.
To accomplish its goals, the CTCC hopes to raise $600,000. So far, including the monies pledged by Pirate Charities, the organization is about halfway to its goal. Fundraising will continue until March or April. Successful fundraising is dependent on the promotional methods used and brochure printers are often called upon to help make the case for a worthy cause.
The $100,000 donation took place at the project’s recent groundbreaking, which drew a substantial crowd. Attendees got to view the statue created by the Cranberry Artists Network that sits in tribute to the 2016 project in front of the field. Additionally, those who came also got to watch a game played on the Miracle League Field.
In addition to the Pirate Charities’ donation several other Checks were presented at the groundbreaking, which included $15,000 from Alcoa Foundation, $20,000 from the Seneca Valley Senior High School, and $4,900 from Chris Camp, owner of Fun Fore All.Get a Free Quote for Checks
