Cranfest, an upcoming festival in Cranberry Township, will once again recognize the community’s broad cultural composition.
Through presentations of music and dance, plus international foods, next month’s celebration will provide residents with the opportunity to learn about the various backgrounds and cultures of their neighbors.
Cranfest is presented by the Township’s Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Advisory (IDEA) Team. The special organization was established in 2014 under a previous name, as a result of the growth of the local business community, which helped to create an increasingly diverse population. Employees, their families, and customers with a range of cultural backgrounds started moving into the area. The IDEA Team and its volunteers work to welcome the new citizens to Cranberry Township.
The colorful spring festival will highlight a selected representation of different ethnic backgrounds in the dance and musical performances. In addition, there will be booths featuring cultural engagement vendors. Festival attendees will also be able to enjoy cuisine offerings from around the world.
Vendors who participate in community festivals such as this often use poster printing to display information about their products and services.
Cranfest will take place on Saturday, April 11 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Municipal Center on Rochester Road. Further information, as well as performance and vendor application Forms, is available on the Township website.Get a Free Quote for Forms
