Cranberry Township highlights future entrepreneurs

Emerging entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas at an upcoming business competition in Cranberry Township.

The Butler County Emerging Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Pitch Competition will see participants present their projects to a panel of experts.

Months of preparation and mentoring have gone into plans that include strategies for marketing and growth, all with the aim of allowing prospective new businesses to help shape the economic future of the county.

A mix of entrepreneurs, investors, educators and community partners will gather for the event, which will include a live Q & A period from the “Sharks.”

Bold new business ideas, including solutions to local and world problems, will be presented and discussed. Awards will be handed out, and the most talented finalists will go home with next-step assistance in launching their innovations.

Competition entries will include an innovative summer camp, an electronic file transfer service, an indoor hydroponic growing system, and affordable dancewear.

Attendees will not only be able to watch the on-stage panel decisions but enjoy dinner and have an opportunity to mingle with business leaders and community stakeholders while celebrating the up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

Events such as this offer the perfect opportunity for individuals to ensure they have Business Cards available for self-promotion.

The competition will be held on Tuesday, April 28 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Regional Learning Alliance, 850 Cranberry Woods Drive in Cranberry Township.
