Media scores as a best place to live


In a set of rankings recently released by Niche, Media was named among best places to live in Pennsylvania for 2019.









Media was listed as the 3,039th best place to live in the United States and the 222nd best place to live in the state. Poster printing can be used to inform the community of such placements and their ratings as compared to other communities.





Niche defines a place as a “non-rural town” with a population of over 1,000 people, and includes suburbs, cities, and neighborhoods within cities. Its best places to live rankings is an assessment of the livability of the place, and looks at several key factors, such as employment statistics, crime rates, access to amenities, and the quality of its schools.





In order to make its assessments, Niche takes its data from many public data sources, including the FBI, the United States Census, and the Department of Education. A composite overall score regarding the overall experience of a place is self-reported by Niche users.





Niche gave Media an overall grade of A+. In the family grade category, which measures school quality, safety, and family-friendly living, it received an A+, and it got the same grade for its public schools. Nightlife was rated an A, while diversity was rated a B, housing a B+, and crime and safety a B-.
