Chadds Ford continues pumpkin-carving tradition

Autumn is quickly approaching in Chadds Ford, and area residents are preparing their carving tools for an annual community pumpkin-carving event.

The 2025 Great Pumpkin Carve of Chadds Ford is preparing to get underway next month, building upon a long-standing tradition in town. The event, which is being organized by the Chadds Ford Historical Society, will span three days and feature over 70 massive pumpkins with customized and creative designs.

The carvers will begin their work on Thursday evening, before adding light to the inside of the pumpkins with candles to enthrall attendees. Interested parties are welcome to arrive early and watch the carvers at work. The finished products will be on display throughout Friday and Saturday.

The host site will also have a pumpkin patch where guests can choose pumpkins to take home and carve to capture the Halloween spirit and enjoy a fun family activity. Flyer printing is a classic way to promote community events, with Flyers generating a high volume of impressions.

Other features of this year’s pumpkin-carving festival are live music, a local artisan market, and a Haunted Trail. No dogs will be allowed at the event due to the darkness and size of the crowds.

The Chadds Ford Historical Society will host the annual celebration starting on Thursday, October 16 at 2:00 PM. Attendance is free, and interested parties can RSVP online.
