Motorcycle ride to raise funds in Chadds Ford

A fundraising motorcycle ride is being put together in Chadds Ford for this summer with riders and their passengers riding for a good cause.

The 13th Annual Eli’s Ride for a Cure will be returning to Chadds Ford this August, and motorcycles in town and the surrounding area are invited to register and join the cruise for a cause. All types of motorcycles are welcome, and other vehicles will not be allowed. Those who register can ‌do their part to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Another portion of the proceeds will benefit the Music & Arts Department. Riders are expected to meet at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Chadds Ford before cruising the selected route, which will take riders to Northeastern Maryland. Organizers can work with printing services to provide informative Brochures that feature a map of the route and the plan for the day to aid riders at gatherings like this.

The ride will continue to VFW 815 on Turkey Point Road in North East Maryland. Riders who join for the first time will receive a commemorative patch for participating. In the event of inclement weather, the ride will be held on Saturday, August 8th.

Riders will hit the road at 10:00 AM sharp on Saturday, August 1st. Interested riders can register for $20 while passengers are $10.
