Thrift store to open near Bristol

A new location of the 2nd Ave Thrift Superstore will be opening in Fairless Hills later this month.

Residents of Bristol will no doubt want to patronize this store, which prides itself on high-quality second-hand household goods and clothing at affordable prices. The store spans 44,000 square feet and is in the Court at Oxford Valley on Commerce Boulevard.

Tony Peressini, CEO of 2nd Ave Thrift Superstore, expressed his excitement about opening this flagship store which he says will meet the demand of customers who have yet to experience the convenience of shopping at 2nd Ave. He added that in addition to being the place to go for high quality second-hand clothing and household items, the efforts of the store will also help local economies with the creation of jobs.

There will be over 100 people employed at the store, including a store manager and production and retails supervisors and managers, many of whom may require business card printing services. The store expects to add merchandise every day, which will include the likes of housewares, shoes, clothing, and Books.

The store will be opening on Thursday, May 20 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Among those attending the ceremony will be members of the Chamber of the Commerce Board of Directors and Administration, as well as management from the store and the local community.
