Historic Bristol Day will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next month, as well as the 250th anniversary of the United States.
This is one of the most beloved and long-lasting community festivals in Bucks County. It celebrates the culture, rich history, and charm of the borough.
Historic Bristol Day honors the creation of Bristol back in 1681, as well as the 50 years of volunteers, community partners, sponsors, and homeowners who have kept this tradition going. What started as an effort of preservation is now one of the most exciting fall events in the region.
Historic Bristol Day features live entertainment, tours of historic private homes, local dining and shopping, artisan vendors, a classic car show, and tea at the South Lawn of the Grundy Museum. There are also activities for children that include a petting zoo and a children’s corner at the Grundy Library.
A special feature will be a tour of the tall ship Gazella, as well as the chance to tour historic public buildings and live the stories and craftmanship that define the past and future of Bristol.
This event is sponsored by the Bristol Cultural and Historic Foundation. Poster printing can be used by organizations such as this one to promote special and unique events.
Historic Bristol Day will take place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 17.
