URBN, formerly known as Urban Outfitters, will be establishing a new distribution center for Nuuly, its rental Apparel brand, in Fairless Hills in Falls Township.
It is expected to bring substantial economic investment and 600 jobs to the region, which will no doubt be beneficial to those in Bristol.
The facility will span 975,000 square feet. Its primary functions will be for warehousing, distribution, and as a laundry for the new brand. It will house cafeterias, offices for employees, lounges, Apparel storage systems, spaces for dry and wet cleaning, and sorting, Packaging, and shipping areas. Banner printing is often used at such sites to inform residents of upcoming facilities and their benefits.
State Senator Frank Farry said that over the past year he has worked to support the expansion efforts of the company and endeavored to establish it in his senatorial district. He said that he expects the job opportunities and economic activity to translate to “meaningful opportunities” for locals.
URBN is the parent company of Urban Outfitters, Free People, Anthropologie, Terrian, and FP Movement. It launched the clothing rental platform Nuuly that allows subscribers to select six items a month from a curated collection of hundreds of brands, including labels from its parent companies and other contemporary designers.
The new facility is expected to open in early 2028.
