Theater in Bristol announces show for March

The Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) will be presenting the hit musical “Cabaret,” starting next month.

This production is directed by Keith Baker and tells the story of an American writer, Cliff Bradshaw, while falls in love with the star performer, Sally Bowles, at the sleazy Kit Kat Club in Berlin in 1929, and how their life is affected by the turmoil in Germany at the time. Among the most memorable scores from this Broadway show are “Cabaret,” “Maybe This Time,” and “Willkommen.”

The BRT has several special events as part of each production. Such events can be made known to the public through flyer printing.

A catered reception follows the opening night performance. The artistic staff and cast engage in a meet and greet. Pasta is provided by Cesare's Ristorante. On the first Friday, there is a pre-show event that begins at 7:00 p.m. The Borough Pub provides appetizers, while beer for both events is courtesy of Cold Spring Beverages. A guest speaker discusses the show.

On the second Wednesday, the theatre opens at 6:30 pm for wine complimentary wine, crudité ,and desserts. From 6:30 to 7:30 pm on the third Thursday of every production, there is beer provided by several local pubs and snacks from Philly Style Soft Pretzel.

The show will run from Tuesday, March 10 through Sunday, April 12, with matinees on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
