Bristol will be holding festivities this weekend to commemorate its recent successes, and also winning the title of the best Main Street in America five years ago as part of the Small Business Revolution Contest.
Such unique events can be advertised and promoted throughout town with banner printing.
President of Raising the Bar (RTB), Bill Pezza, said that there will be the Pour Tour, which will be a happy hour from 2:00 to 4:00 pm featuring the several spirit and food establishments near to each other in the downtown area. He said that people will be invited to visit all the establishments or just spend time at their favorite one. The group RTB was developed so the town could participate in the Small Business Revolution Contest, and is now looking to this anniversary to encourage the town to reach greater heights in the future.
Carla Sloan, member of the board of the RTB and Bristol Borough Business Association, said that there will also be special sales and discounts at all retail shops in town. The Bristol Riverside Theater will also be offering a discount of 20% on both performances that day of “The Calamari Sisters Sausagefest.” In addition, the face of the Small Business Revolution Contest, Amanda Brinkman, will be creating a video to congratulate the town on this special occasion.
The festivities will take place this Saturday, February 19.
