Approval of the preliminary and final development of a new project of townhomes in the Croyden section of town has been recommended by the Bristol Township Planning Commission.
The developer of the project is JRZ LLC of Croydon. The project is in the 600 block of Second Avenue and Coventry Avenue and will have two townhouses of three units each, for a total of six residential units. Banner printing is often used at such sites to inform the community of such potential developments.
The project will also have a parking lot for the residents and an underground stormwater basin. There are two homes on the site that the developer wants to demolish. Existing businesses on the site that include a machine shop and an auto repair shop will continue to operate. It is expected that the project will enhance the overall appearance of the area.
Waivers related to grading, curbing, parking, widths of easement, and locations of handicap parking have been recommended by the planning commission to be approved. Discussions regarding road improvements are still ongoing between the engineer of the township and the developer. The developer will need to adhere to recommendations by the township for the approval of subdivision and land development.
The council of the township is expected to vote on the project at an upcoming meeting.
