On the heels of the announcement of a large speculative industrial facility at the Bristol Commerce Center, it was recently announced that retailer Urban Outfitters will be moving into another new facility on 20 of the park’s 81 acres.
The size of the facility to be used by Philadelphia company Urban Outfitters is 309,000 square feet. Construction began the first week of December and the fabrics warehouse is expected to open in mid-2019. Techniques such as banner printing can be used at such sites to keep those in the community informed of the progress of the construction projects going on.
Herring Properties, the developer of the Bristol Commerce Center, and its Principal, Jamie Herring, expressed delight with Urban Outfitters moving into one the facilities under construction. Construction was also recently finished on another new industrial facility, measuring 80,000 square feet in size, at 2151 Green Lane, at the Bristol Commerce Center leased to Herring Properties.
The Bristol Commerce Center is in what is known as a Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone and this designation lasts through 2022. This means that businesses looking to expand in or relocate to the area receive substantial financial tax abatements. In addition to the benefits provided by the designation, the Commerce Center is close to the new interconnection of I-95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
