Lidl US, a supermarket giant based in Germany, is planning to build stores in Bristol and Bensalem, as well as one in Warminster.
The store will be built on New Falls Road on a four-acre parcel that will accommodate the store to span 31,000 square feet.
Real estate representative for the company in the region, Kyle Smyth, said the company has close to 11,000 stores in Europe and in 32 countries around the world. He added that the company started opening stores in the United States in 2017 with 130 stores in nine states. The store that will open in Warminster will be the first Lidl in Bucks County. Such stores often turn to Print shops to help them with promoting their brand throughout a region.
Although Smyth does not have many details about the stores that are to be built, he did say that the company approaches shoppers differently from other grocery stores. Shelves are not stocked with items but have Boxes of high-quality products which saves on stocking costs which are passed on to the customer. There is also not a wide variety of brands but selections that are carefully curated to assure the best prices and top quality. In addition, the stores are smaller and located closer to residents to make them more convenient.Get a Free Quote for Boxes Get a Free Quote for Print
