Bucks County Community College, with a campus in Bristol, recently announced that it will be offering a training program in industrial maintenance to high school seniors and adults between the ages of 18 and 24 years old.
This program offers the same skills training in electro-mechanical fundamentals that the school provides to its regular students, but has a modified schedule to accommodate those who are working or attending high school. More details about such programs can be provided through brochure printing services.
A grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry has enabled the program to offer free tuition, although those wanting to attend the program need to meet specific criteria. Those who wish to enroll in those program should enjoy problem solving, be mechanically inclined, looking to start a new career. Those who complete the program will be connected with employers in the local area looking for graduates with the skills learned in the program.
The program lasts for 16 weeks and will begin next February. Classes are held five days a week from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
An Open House for those interested in the program will be held at the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center in Doylestown from 4:00 to 6:00 pm this Wednesday, June 26. There will be the opportunity to tour the lab where classes will take place and to speak with instructors.
