Celtic Day will be held for its 26th year in Bristol’s Waterfront Park this weekend.
This event is supported by the Celtic Heritage Foundation and is one of their major fundraising events of the year. It is a festival that lasts the entire day and is filled with special exhibits, crafts, food, dance, and music for everyone to enjoy. The event is free and people are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and camping chairs.
The day will start off at 11:30 am with a bagpiper. The Bucks County Genealogical Society will have a table offering free genealogy guidance, and will provide more information about its database, programs, and membership. This is often an ideal opportunity for local Print shops to get involved by creating Flyers and Brochures for people to take away with them after visiting such booths.
The Celtic Heritage Foundation will be selling tickets for the Wheel Barrow of Cheer. The price is $5 for one ticket, or people can buy four tickets and get a fifth free. The drawing will be held at the afterparty at Naked Brewing Bristol beginning at 6:00 pm. Proceeds from the drawing go towards grants to elementary schools and graduating seniors from Bristol High School, and for the maintenance of the foundation’s monument.
Celtic Day will be held this Sunday, June 23.
