Bristol YMCA to reopen in renovated facility

The Fairless Hills branch of the YMCA of Buck’s County, located on South Oxford Valley Road in Bristol, will be reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this afternoon.

The facility in Bristol had been renovated and now offers a new Wellness Center with strength-building and state-of-the-art cardio equipment, new group and exercise studios, a renovated pool, female and adult locker rooms for those 12 years of age and older, and a revitalized gymnasium. Other new amenities include a NovaCare rehabilitation facility, a community gathering space, and a Stay and Play Room. Renovations began on the building in late 2020. More information about such new amenities is often outlined with brochure printing.

Close to 6,000 members are served by the YMCA location in Bristol, which provides free programming for cancer survivors, older adults, and veterans, as well as $5m in assistance each year for families and individuals in need. The YMCA of Bucks County is an organization that was established in 2018 by merging the Upper Bucks YMCA, the Lower Bucks Family YMCA, and the Central Bucks YMCA.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 14 at 1:00 pm. Prior to the opening, an information center will be opened at St. Frances Cabrini parish for members of the community to see floor plans of the new facility, ask questions, and purchase memberships.
