Bristol Township will be hosting its Halloween parade and several other events this year.
It will take place at the new Bristol Township Municipal Park Amphitheater. The Parks and Recreation Department of Bristol Township said that this new park, and the space it offers, has benefited everyone in the town. Such special events are often promoted throughout a community with banner printing.
Those who are participating in the parade need to arrive 15 minutes before the parade starts. Children are encouraged to attend and the first 150 who arrive in time will be given a bag of candy. Prizes for costumes will be awarded in several categories. There is no requirement to pre-register for the event.
The parade is being sponsored by the Bristol Township Council and Brown’s ShopRite of Fairless Hills and will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 24, with a rain date of Sunday, October 25.
There will also be a Holiday Parade that will begin at Brookwood Elementary School and travel along Haines Road and Millcreek Road to the Ben Franklin School, covering a total distance of 1.5 miles. This will take place from noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 21. The Municipal Park Amphitheater will also be the site for Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, December 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
