Bristol police receive support from local businesses

Two local businesses have generously donated time and supplies to help the Bristol Borough Police Department in this time of need.

Flyer printing can be used to inform the community of such support and encourage others to assist in a similar fashion.

The owner of Black Sparrow Tattoo in Bristol, Nicholas Santiago, has donated many Boxes of surgical gloves. Santiago said that he wanted to support the department at this time when he is not able to maintain his operations. Chief Steven Henry said that the gloves will be useful as part of the personal protective equipment (PPE) the officers use. He also expressed his appreciation of the support that has been received by the community in general, and specifically this support from the Black Sparrow.

Tim and Cara Wilson operate a SERVPRO shop in Douglasville, and Cara owns a SportsClips Haircuts in Bensalem and Fairless Hills. They are highly connected to the community in Bristol and have donated their equipment and time to disinfecting police vehicles for several police departments in the area, including Bristol itself.

Chief Henry expressed his thankfulness to the Wilsons for their support, as first responders need to clean and disinfect their equipment on more than a regular basis at the moment. He is grateful that they are able to help in this fashion.
