Bristol hosts events for young and old

Two unique events will be held in Bristol next month.

Organizers of events like these will often use poster printing to spread the word and promote them throughout a community.

The first is the Brian Adams Fish With A Cop. The Bristol Borough Police Department will be hosting this event for children of the borough who are 12 years old and younger at the Bristol Lagoon and it will be a day of fishing, snacks, and prizes, and is free. Registration Forms for the event are available at the department on Pond Street. Fishing gear may be available for those who do not have such equipment. This will be from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday September 7.

The next event will be the annual Oldies On The River Concert at the Mill Street parking lot. Featured at the concert this year will be Forever Donna, which is the Ultimate Donna Summer Tribute featuring Rainere Martin from Philadelphia, The Tymes, The Intruders, and WABC Radio Personality Vinnie Medugno. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Ot is recommended that attendees bring blankets and lawn chairs. Parking will be available at Lenox, Radliff Street, from which there will be a shuttle bus service to the concert. This will be on Saturday September 21 beginning at 6:00 p.m. There will be a pre-show starting at 5:00 p.m.
