Activities planned for Bristol area residents

Several events and activities will be taking place in Bristol in the upcoming weeks.

Such events and activities can often be promoted throughout a town with poster printing.

The Rotary Club of Bristol will be hosting a Pasta Dinner at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School on Beaver Street in Bristol. Tickets cost $12.00 per adult and $8.00 for students 16 years of age and younger. There is no cost for children under the age of five.

Proceeds of the dinner will benefit the Rotary Scholarship Fund. The dinner will be held on Sunday, April 21 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

The borough will also be holding a Townwide Clean Up Day later in the month. All residents are encouraged to participate and can come as individuals or as a group. The mayor and Borough Council are sponsors of this event. Everyone is to meet at the Snyder-Girotti Elementary School at 9:45am on Saturday, April 27.

There will be a dedication ceremony of the Gabbie Devine Memorial Bench at the track at Bristol High School next month. There will be a welcome by Principal Nick Nastasi and speakers Haley Velasquez, Rin McGinn, and Dave Tyreell.

Ericka Criz Device will carry out the dedication. Among those making this event possible are the Bristol Borough School District, Bristol ELKS 970, Bristol Borough Council, and Bristol Borough Public Works. The dedication will take place on Friday, May 3 at 12:45pm.
