What's Happening in Portland, OR…

Winter gloom to be eased at upcoming Auto Show

The Oregon Convention Center will soon be the site of the largest auto show based in the Northwest, The Portland International Auto Show.

This is a family-friendly event where 500 new trucks, cars, and sports utility vehicles (SUVs), as well as power sports vehicles, will be available for viewing. Over 35 manufacturers will be represented, including motorcycles from BMW, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and Suzuki.

Events such as trade shows often involve materials supplied by brochure printing services.

Past Auto Shows have included a Sneak Peak the night before the show that offered a first look before the official opening. Typically, the Sneak Peak would support a local charity, although this year’s Auto Show will not feature this event. However, The Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association, which sponsors the show, is considering reviving it in its 2024 event.

Ford, Toyota, and Volkswagen will all each be offering a “Ride and Drive” experience at the show, with Ford and Volkswagen each offering six different vehicles and Toyota demonstrating its Corolla Cross and Tundra.

Show tickets are $8 for children 7 to 12 years old, seniors and military members pay $12, and adults are $15. All major credit cards as well as cash will be accepted at the box office.

The Portland International Auto Show runs from February 2 to 5, running from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm each day except the last one, when it ends at 7:00 pm.
