A range of free events are set to take place in public spots throughout central Portland this summer.
Returning this summer are the Free for All Outdoor Movies events, which take place from July 10 through August 29, 2026. Every movie shown will be family-friendly and free. They are hosted at a different park each time, with a full calendar available on the Travel Portland website.
The Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series is also returning. The series has already begun and will run through July 30, 2026. Hosted by 101.9 KINK, the series takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00-1:00 pm at Pioneer Courthouse Square. The free concerts feature local and regional musicians.
Free Art in the Park also takes place up until July 30. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Portlanders can visit downtown to paint, listen to music, and connect with neighbors. The aim of the hands-on events is to inspire creativity among locals. Materials are available while supplies last. Artists can take their work home and might even consider researching Print shops that can bring their art to life.
Several other festivals and street fairs will take place throughout the summer as well. In July, the Mississippi Street Fair hosts three stages of live music, having previously brought in more than 30,000 attendees. Finally, the Montavilla Street Fair also happens in July and will host more than 150 local vendors selling food, crafts, art, and other retail options.Get a Free Quote for Print
