Portland Thorns 2022 schedule released
The National Women’s Soccer League has released its long-awaited regular-season schedule, and Portland Thorns’ fans will be casting their eyes over the 22 games, with 11 of those being home games.
Portland fans can enjoy the Thorns regular season opener against the Kansas City Current on April 30 at home. They will challenge the North Carolina Courage a week later as an away game on May 7. The NC Courage game will be followed by home games against OL Reign, Washing Spirit, and Houston Dash on May 13, 18, and 21 respectively.
A second game against OL Reign will be played on the road on July 10.
Of the Thorns’ final three games, two will be played at home with a game September 21 against Racing Louisville FC and another on September 25 against Chicago Red Stars. The very last game of the season will be an away game on October 1 with the NJ/NY Gotham FC.
Thorns home game tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 22, at ThornsFC.com at 12:00 pm PT. Presale access will be available to season-ticket holders at 10:00 am that morning.
The NWSL playoffs will begin October 16 and include six teams, of which two top seed teams will have first-round byes. The championship match will take place October 29.
