Portland prepares for monster invasion
‘Monster Jam’ 2015 is coming to Portland in a week’s time.
The event offers non-stop action as the huge trucks smash into obstacles, tear around the track, and perform exciting stunts.
The family-friendly show is part of a nationwide tour. Measuring about 12 feet tall and weighing thousands of pounds, trucks face off in various competitions.
Admission costs between $20 and $45 for adults and $10 to $45 for kids. Children under two may attend free of charge, and there are also group discounts. Tickets can be purchased online, by calling (800) 745-3000, or by visiting the Rose Quarter Box Office. Parking costs $10.
For an additional cost, there are also pit passes available for purchase, at which guests can gain entry into a pit party. During this time, individuals can obtain autographs of the Monster Truck drivers.
The event will take place at The Moda Center, a multipurpose arena that hosts sporting events, concerts, and shows. The venue is located in Portland’s Rose Quarter.
