Portland Nashville nonstop flights to begin in 2024
Alaska Airlines has plans to offer nonstop flights between PDX (Portland International Airport) and BNA (Nashville International Airport).
Currently all flights between PDX and BNA, regardless of airliner, include layovers. Alaska Airline’s vice president of network planning and revenue management, Kirsten Amrine, explained the move in a recent statement:
Alaska Airlines has been Portland’s largest carrier for the past 20 years and its new route to Nashville will be its 53rd nonstop route departing from PDX. The Portland to Nashville nonstop flight, beginning March 14 of next year, will increase the carriers’ destinations beyond the Pacific Northwest to a higher number than it had prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
Airports use a wide range of signage, much of which may be supplied by a local printing service.
According to Amrine, part of the reasoning for creating the nonstop flights between Portland and Nashville were because fliers in the region had expressed an interest in an easier route to Nashville.
Beginning March 14, 2024, Alaska’s schedule will include PDX-BNA departing at 9:00 am and arriving at 3:20 pm and BNA-PDX leaving at 4:25 pm and arriving at 7:35 pm. All times are local.
Beginning this Friday, November 17, Alaska will also commence nonstop flights from Portland to Miami.
