What's Happening in Portland, OR…

Historic landmark glows with holiday cheer

This month, the Portland community can witness ‘A Miracle of a Million Lights’.

The Victorian Belle and its grounds will be decorated with more than a million lights. During this festive time, guests can take a tour of this notable landmark adorned with antiques, vintage decor, and Christmas trees.

Along with seeing the lights and decorations, guests will be treated to apple cider, cookies, and other treats while listening to local choirs and other musical entertainment. After the tour, guests are invited to peruse the gift shop.

Admission is $6 for adults (ages 18 to 64), and $3 for both students (ages 4 to 17) and seniors (65 and older). Kids aged three and under get in free of charge. In order to receive $1 off admission, individuals can bring in a nonperishable food item and visit the Victorian Belle website to print out a coupon.

The Victorian Belle was built in 1885. Now, the historic site is home to vintage artifacts. It is also a wedding and event venue. No doubt the establishment has worked with brochure printers to create colorful handouts to highlight the Belle’s rich history and venue accommodations.

The miracle begins on December 13 and runs all the way through December 23. Daily hours are 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

The Victorian Belle is located on 1441 North McClellan Street. For more information, call (503)-970-0213.
