What's Happening in Portland, OR…

Guests enjoy chocolate treats while helping the environment

Chocolate Fest is taking place next month for three days in Portland. Proceeds raised from this event will go to support the World Forestry Center.

This festival has been named one of the top 10 food festivals in the country by USA Today. More than 60 exhibitors will be on hand to provide samples of their chocolate, wine, and food. There will be chocolate and wine tastings, educational presentations, and cooking demonstrations. VIP tickets are available for purchase and include private lounges, appetizers, and free drinks.

The event will open with a premiere party that is restricted to those aged 21 and over.

The World Forestry Center is a museum that is located in Washington Park. The organization also owns three working forests and runs the World Forest Institute, which aims to educate the public, government, and businesses on sustainability of the forests.

No doubt some of the vendors at this Portland show will be handing out promotional products to those who stop by their booths; these may include items like pens or notepads.

Chocolate Fest will take place at the Oregon Convention Center from January 22 to 24. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $8 for children. The premiere party will be held on January 22 beginning at 9:00 pm. Visit the official website to get the latest information.
