Elmo and friends perform in Medford
Medford will soon welcome some of the world’s most well-known children’s characters when Sesame Street Live Elmo and Friends Say Hello comes to the Craterian Theater in October.
The performance includes Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby and Elmo as part of the tour around the United States,
The interactive stage show includes a hide-and-seek game with Elmo’s puppy, Tango, as well as singing and dancing with a variety of characters. Audience members are also encouraged to participate in the dancing.
Sesame Street’s stop in Medford comes amidst a nationwide road trip that kicked off at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July, with Cookie Monster serving as the Grand Marshal of the Brickyard 400 NASCAR Cup Series.
The road trip announcement video included a guest spot with professional driver Bubba Wallace alongside Cookie Monster. According to Sesame Workshop, the goal of the road trip is to inspire children everywhere in the U.S. to be kinder to each other.
Television airways have carried Sesame Street programming since 1969. The famous characters took their show on the road at baseball games, state fairs, with Medford being the latest stop.
Concerts like this may choose to use banner printing for signs, marquees or stage decorations.
