A contract worth $896,000 has been made between the city of Lake Oswego and Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. to complete new pathways as part of the rural infrastructure of the community.
Among these pathways will be the: Carman Drive Pathway; the Lanewood Street / Douglas Circle Pathway; the Meadowlark Lane Pathway; the Pilkington Road Pathway and the Tree Top Lane Pathway.
Local Print shops often contribute to such efforts with the printing of Flyers and Brochures with more information about projects like this.
The Pathways Program of the city is designed to provide safe facilities for pedestrians that encourage bike riding, walking, and activities like roller blading. These pathways are an important part of the city’s Capital Improvement Plan and the Transportation System Plan.
An expenditure of $4 million in three years through the street maintenance fee will provide the money for these pathways for their design and construction.
A staff report from the city said that combining these pathways into one project will enable them to be delivered more efficiently. The design phase will include involvement by the public, coordination of utilities, land rights, how easily they can be constructed, and compliance with the Americans for Disabilities Act.
The projects are expected to be completed by the summer of 2025, and will join the portfolio of other successful pathways constructed over the summer and fall of 2023.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print
