Darick Dang, Samuel Soong, and Collin Love created The Alley to provide a hub for enthusiasts, collectors, and fans and inspire a new generation of collectors of trading cards. Kevin Love, a native of Oswego and professional basketball player, is backing the venture.
Love said:
“Lake Oswego will always be home for me, so seeing my brother and his partners bring something like The Alley to the community is really special.”
He added that trading cards can connect fans, collectors, kids, and their parents and he expressed his pride in supporting a shop that unites people around their hobby. The Alley is hoping to make the hobby more accessible to all people.
Such new shops can turn to brochure printing to promote their offerings and their goals for their shop and the community.
The designation of Topps Authorized Direct Partner was also given to the shop. This enables the shop to have access to a name that is the most trusted and iconic names in collectibles and trading cards. Soong said that being a Topps Authorized Direct Partner is a major achievement as it enables the shop to provide access to their premier products and build trust in their local shop so people will want to return many times.
