Lake Oswego chamber moves to new home

The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce now has a new location on B Avenue.

Located just two blocks from its former spot on B Avenue, it has replaced what was once the A-Assured Lock Shop.

The new home of the Chamber is next to the post office and event venue Ironlight and across the street from the main fire station. Liz Hartman, chairman of the Chamber, said that the new location has parking behind the building, space for displaying visitor information, and a small conference room for committee meetings.

Hartman said that this is the fifth address of the Chamber on B Avenue in the last 20 years and added that the person leasing the previous location of the Chamber decided to go in a different direction. She stressed that visitors are always welcome to the new home. Local Print shops can create Flyers and Brochures that help such organizations promote businesses and activities throughout the community, with materials conveniently displayed for residents to pick up.

A-Assured Lock Shop had been in that location for over four years. It previously had three locations but has decided to merge all of them into one location in Tigard on SW 85th Avenue.

The hours of the Chamber are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It plans to hold an open house sometime next month.
