Bend program on offer for junior biologists
Frogs, toads, salamanders and other amphibians spend time both on the land and in the water, and a Bend workshop will give its junior scientist’s a chance to get a sneak peek into their life cycle and role in the ecosystems they call home.
The High Hoppers workshop will be geared towards kids between the ages of three to five. They will discover how amphibians live, what they eat, and even whether a toad or a frog is the higher jumper.
This event is being offered as part of the High Desert Museum’s children's programming. They are welcome to attend along with a parent or other caregiver, and it will give them a chance to explore and discover their world, and there will be an assortment of take-home activities so the learning can keep going even after the session is over. A print shop can use graphic design to prepare handouts and other items for this sort of occasion.
The registration fee to be a part of this activity is $15 per child, and a discount is being offered for museum members. The adults who accompany the children will be asked to pay museum admission if they are not members, and an additional sibling ticket for anyone who is three years old or younger can be purchased for $5, which will cover the cost of their craft materials.
February 27 has been selected as the date for this kid-friendly function, and it will begin at 10:00 am. The museum's website includes more details.
