Music lovers, or anyone needing an evening of soft relaxation in Bend, may wish to block off their Calendars for a date in August.
Pianist Julie Hanney and flutist Sherry Finzer will be coming together to put on a show that seeks to calm and inspire. Each artist will perform both individually and as a duet, as well as inviting collaboration from the attending audience.
Hanney’s sound has been described as neoclassical, with inspirations from both classical and contemporary artists. Finzer is passionate about using her music to help people and focuses on peace and relaxation. She uses a variety of instruments to create sounds that promote this.
In addition to their music promoting their values, artists also need images to reflect their brand. Graphic design can be important when it comes to communicating these values to fans as well as potential new listeners who may be discovering an artist for the first time.
The concert will be held at the Hanai venue on 62430 Eagle Rd from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on Sunday, August 2. Tickets are $25 online but can also be purchased at the door for $30. Attendees are invited to bring a yoga mat if they wish, but it is not mandatory.
